Our friend, Jim Freeman, has entered into his heavenly reward.
If you ever had the privilege of knowing Jim, you know exactly what we mean when we say he was a grandpa to every single one of us. He walked into a room and instantly made it warmer.
Jim was a man overflowing with joy. Not the kind that depends on circumstances, but the deep, contagious, God-given kind that spilled onto everyone around him. He saw the best in people, cheered them on, and left you feeling like you could take on the world after just a few minutes in his company.
And behind this incredible man stood his wonderful, caring wife, Angela. She is so deeply loved by this church family. Our hearts are wrapped around her completely right now.
Jim, we are so grateful for every laugh, every kind word, and your love for Jesus. You refused to let age stop you from learning more about God every week. You pursued God all the way through the finish line. You made Ovation a richer, brighter, more joyful place.
Please keep Angela and the Freeman family in your prayers. Let’s surround her with the same love Jim always showed each of us.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
