Day 2 of the NAD Annual Council Pre-Meetings
Today we are meeting with NADOUP (North American Division and Union Officers) as we prepare the agenda that will come before the NAD Executive Committee during Annual Council. NADOUP meets twice each year, bringing together division and union leadership to review, discuss, and prayerfully consider the items that will be presented to the Executive Committee.
These meetings are an important part of ensuring that the business of the Church is carried forward thoughtfully, strategically, and mission-focused. As we work together today, we ask for your prayers for wisdom, discernment, unity, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every discussion and decision.
Thank you for partnering with us in prayer as we seek God's leading for His church.
Together in Mission!!

It has been a busy season of ministry and service.
This past weekend, I had the privilege of being at Andrews University, attending meetings at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. On Monday, I joined the Board of Trustees as we continued important conversations about the mission and future of Adventist education and ministry.
Today, we begin the pre-meetings for the North American Division Annual Council. Annual Council serves as the Executive Committee of the NAD and plays a vital role in the work and direction of the Church.
As we engage in these discussions and decisions, I would appreciate your prayers for wisdom, discernment, and God’s leading. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Today I had the privilege of attending the Oklahoma Conference Executive Committee meeting. I left encouraged and excited by the many activities taking place and the strong mission focus demonstrated throughout the organization.
There is great synergy among the leadership team, united in their commitment to advancing the mission and serving their communities with purpose.
I was honored to share a devotional on one of their core values: Spirit-Led Excellence and Professionalism. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how God's guidance should shape both our service and our pursuit of excellence.
Special appreciation to President Daniel Ortega and his team for the outstanding work they are doing and for their dedication to mission-driven leadership.

Day 2 of the Oakwood University Board of Trustees Retreat is off to a great start! This morning, we are privileged to hear from Lowell Cooper, retired Vice President of the General Conference, as he shares valuable insights on Board Governance.
His wisdom and experience are setting the stage for what promises to be an engaging and productive day. We look forward to thoughtful discussions, shared vision, and continued commitment to Oakwood University's mission.

What a privilege it is to be listening to Dr. Ella Simmons, former Vice President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Her presentation is powerful, insightful, and inspiring.
Her wealth of experience, passion for mission, and commitment to servant leadership continue to challenge and encourage all of us to lead with purpose, faith, and integrity. Grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an outstanding leader.
