Today’s offering is an opportunity to invest in a place where lives are changed for generations.

A church camp is much more than land and buildings. It is a place where children discover God’s love, teenagers surrender their lives to Christ, families find strength, and leaders equip for ministry. It is where people step away from the distractions of everyday life to hear the voice of God more clearly.

When we give toward the development of this camp, we are not simply funding construction projects or improvements—we are creating spaces where ministry can flourish. Every cabin, meeting room, trail, and worship area becomes a tool that God can use to transform lives.

The Bible reminds us in Isaiah 32:18, “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” As we help develop this camp, we are helping provide a place of peace, restoration, and spiritual renewal for countless people who will come to seek hope and healing.

Sembrando para el futuro

La ofrenda de hoy es una oportunidad para invertir en un lugar donde las vidas son transformadas para las generaciones venideras.

Un campamento de la iglesia es mucho más que terrenos y edificios. Es un lugar donde los niños descubren el amor de Dios, los adolescentes entregan sus vidas a Cristo, las familias encuentran fortaleza y los líderes se capacitan para el ministerio. Es un sitio donde las personas se apartan de las distracciones de la vida cotidiana para escuchar la voz de Dios con mayor claridad.

Al contribuir al desarrollo de este campamento, no estamos simplemente financiando proyectos de construcción o mejoras; estamos creando espacios donde el ministerio puede florecer. Cada cabaña, sala de reuniones, sendero y área de adoración se convierte en una herramienta que Dios puede usar para transformar vidas.

La Biblia nos recuerda en Isaías 32:18: “Mi pueblo habitará en moradas de paz, en hogares seguros y en lugares de descanso tranquilos”. Al ayudar a desarrollar este campamento, estamos contribuyendo a brindar un lugar de paz, restauración y renovación espiritual para innumerables personas que vendrán en busca de esperanza y sanidad.

Hoy le invito a dar con visión a la ofrenda Visión de Texas. Vaya más allá de la donación que marca como ofrenda. Imagine a los niños que aceptan a Jesús por primera vez, a los matrimonios que son restaurados, a los jóvenes que descubren el llamado de Dios o a los creyentes cansados que encuentran nuevas fuerzas porque este campamento estaba listo para recibirlos.

El arte de la lógica inversa

Vivimos en una época en la que "más es mejor." Admiramos a quienes acumulan fortunas y escalan montañas solitarias de éxito, pero la cultura del cielo opera con una lógica que vuelca nuestras suposiciones. En el reino de Dios, para ser rico, hay que renunciar a todo.

Para mostrarnos esto, las Escrituras presentan la biografía más disruptiva de la historia, encontrada en Filipenses 2:5-8. A diferencia de nuestras trayectorias ascendentes, el camino de Jesús descendió. Aunque era Dios, no se aferraba a Su estatus. La Biblia dice que se vació a sí mismo, entrando en el mundo en un establo y tomando la forma de un siervo. Mientras el mundo perseguía tronos, Él buscaba un pesebre.

Es frustrante y, sinceramente, un poco penoso darse cuenta de que los discípulos discutieron sobre quién de ellos era el mayor justo después de que Jesús les hablara sobre su sacrificio en nuestro nombre. Pero si somos honestos, hacemos lo mismo. Por eso Jesús fue tan directo en Marcos 9:35: "Si alguien quiere ser el primero, debe ser el último de todos y el siervo de todos".

La generosidad no consiste simplemente en desprenderse del dinero; A menudo podemos dar mucho de lo que nos sobra. La verdadera generosidad requiere un cambio en nuestro sistema operativo. Significa entender que:

· La grandeza no se mide por cuántos te sirven, sino por cuántos sirves.
· La riqueza no es lo que guardas, sino lo que plantas.
· La plenitud llega cuando vivimos la Regla de Oro que se encuentra en
Mateo 7:12: "Así que, en todo, haz a los demás lo que quieres que te hagan a ti".

Dar es el acto más puro de rebeldía contra un mundo egoísta. Cuando eliges dar, dejas de competir por un lugar en la tierra y empiezas a anhelar un lugar en el reino de Dios.

The Art of Reverse Logic

We live in an age where “more is better.” We admire those who accumulate fortunes and climb solitary mountains of success, yet the culture of heaven operates with a logic that overturns our assumptions. In God’s kingdom, to be rich, you must give up everything.

To show us this, Scripture presents the most disruptive biography in history, found in Philippians 2:5-8. Unlike our upward trajectories, Jesus’ path moved downward. Though He was God, He did not cling to His status. The Bible says that He emptied Himself, entering the world in a stable and taking the form of a servant. While the world chased thrones, He searched for a manger.

It’s frustrating and, honestly, a bit embarrassing to realize that the disciples argued about who among them was the greatest right after Jesus spoke to them about His sacrifice on our behalf. But if we are honest, we do the same. That’s why Jesus was so direct in Mark 9:35 ISV: “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Generosity is not merely about parting with money; we can often give substantially from our leftovers. True generosity requires a shift in our operating system. It means understanding that:
· Greatness isn’t measured by how many serve you, but by how many you serve.

· Wealth isn’t what you keep, but what you plant.

· Fulfillment comes when we live the Golden Rule found in Matthew 7:12:
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.”

Giving is the purest act of rebellion against a selfish world. When you choose to give, you stop competing for a place on Earth and start making room for yourself in the kingdom of God.

El plan de Dios para el sostenimiento de su obra en esta tierra es a través del diezmo y las ofrendas de su pueblo. La ofrenda de hoy está destinada a la proclamación del evangelio adventista en todo el mundo, mediante las ondas de la radio.

Los ministerios adventistas de la radio han tenido un profundo impacto global, pues las ondas radiales alcanzan a personas en lugares donde la obra misionera tradicional resulta limitada o imposible, llegando hasta donde los misioneros o los ministerios presenciales no pueden llegar. La radio puede escucharse en privado, ya sea en los automóviles o detrás de puertas cerradas. Romanos 10:17 nos dice: “Así que la fe viene como resultado de oír el mensaje y el mensaje que se oye es la palabra de Cristo”.

Gracias a las ofrendas de hoy, muchas personas podrán escuchar el mensaje adventista a través de sus radios. Numerosos oyentes se inscribirán en cursos bíblicos por correspondencia o solicitarán visitas personales. God’s plan for the support of His work on this earth is through the tithe and freewill offerings of His people. Today’s offering is for the proclamation of the Adventist gospel to all the world by radio.

Adventist radio ministries have had a profound global impact, reaching people in places where traditional mission work is limited or impossible. Radio waves go where missionaries cannot go. Radio can be heard in cars and behind closed doors where people cannot enter. Romans 10:17 (NKJV) says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Through your offering today, many people will be reached by hearing the Adventist message on their radios. Many radio listeners enroll in Bible correspondence schools or request in-person visits. Many will hear hope-filled messages, especially today when people are isolated, anxious or in despair. In times of uncertainty, faith-based radio brings peace and spiritual comfort.

Besides Adventist Word Radio (AWR), the Adventist church supports radio stations and programs worldwide that reach people with the distinctive, Christ-centered, Seventh-day Adventist message of hope and wholeness.

UN LUGAR PARA DIOS Y LA COMUNIDAD

Uno de los versículos más misericordiosos de las Escrituras, aunque muchas veces pasa inadvertido, se encuentra en Éxodo 25:8, en la versión Reina-Valera 1960, donde Dios declara: «Y harán un santuario para mí, y habitaré en medio de ellos».

Según el libro de Éxodo, el Santuario en el desierto no solo era un lugar seguro debido a la presencia de Dios, sino también un lugar donde aquello que nos separa del Señor, llamado pecado, podía ser eliminado. En el Santuario, Dios ponía la salvación al alcance de Su pueblo, incluso si anteriormente lo había rechazado.

Hoy, somos llamados nuevamente a continuar edificando un santuario, un lugar donde Dios desea habitar con nosotros, incluso con aquellos que inicialmente hayan rechazado al Señor. Este lugar donde nuestra iglesia se reúne hoy se llama «santuario». Es un lugar donde Dios desea tener comunión contigo, con tu familia, tus amigos y tus vecinos, con el mismo propósito: brindar seguridad, quitar el pecado y poner la salvación a tu alcance hoy.

Esta ofrenda para nuestra iglesia local ayudará a cubrir sus necesidades, entre ellas los servicios públicos, el mantenimiento del edificio, los seguros, la evangelización local, los subsidios escolares y los fondos para estudiantes que necesitan ayuda, los materiales de la Escuela Sabática y mucho más.

Proporcionemos un lugar especial donde podamos habitar con Dios y Él pueda habitar con nosotros hoy. Muchas gracias por su fiel generosidad.

A PLACE FOR GOD AND COMMUNITY

One of the most merciful Scripture verses hidden in plain sight can be found in Exodus 25:8 of the King James Version, where God proclaims, “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.”

According to Exodus, the Sanctuary in the wilderness was not only a place of safety because of God’s presence but also a place where the substance of separation from the Lord, called sin, could be removed. In the Sanctuary, God could make salvation available to His people, even if they had previously rejected Him.

Today, we are called again to continue building up a sanctuary, a place where God desires to dwell with us—even those who may have initially rejected the Lord. This room where our church meets today is called “a sanctuary.” It is a place where God seeks to fellowship with you, your family, your friends, and your neighbors, with the same goal: to provide safety, remove sin, and make salvation available to you today.

This offering for our local church will support its needs, including utilities, building maintenance, insurance, local evangelism, school subsidies/worthy student funds, Sabbath School supplies, and much more.

Let us provide a great place to dwell with God and have Him dwell with us today. Thank you very much for your faithful generosity.

Cada día en nuestras academias, los estudiantes aprenden más que matemáticas, ciencias o historia. Están conociendo a Dios, desarrollando un carácter fuerte y descubriendo el propósito que Dios tiene para sus vidas. Nuestros profesores rezan con los estudiantes, los guían espiritualmente y les ayudan a crecer hasta convertirse en líderes que sirvan tanto a la iglesia como a sus comunidades.

Algunos padres creen profundamente en el valor de una escuela centrada en Cristo, pero sus limitaciones económicas dificultan mantener a sus hijos matriculados. Para estas familias, el coste de una educación adventista puede ser un verdadero desafío.

Every day at our academies, students are learning more than math, science or history. They are getting to know God, developing a strong character and discovering the purpose God has for their lives. Our teachers pray with students, guide them spiritually and help them grow into leaders who will serve both the church and their communities.
