We are excited to announce that Durham Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places!

This blessing will support ongoing restoration efforts, improvements to our bathrooms, and enhanced ADA accessibility to our sanctuary and facilities.

Additionally, we are grateful to have received a $68,000 grant from the New York Landmarks Conservancy for roof restoration and window repairs.

That’s $143,000 in grant funding toward preserving our historic church and preparing it for future generations!

We thank God for His continued faithfulness and extend our sincere appreciation to the organizations investing in the future of Durham Memorial.
