UB St. Joe's We are the Catholic Campus Ministry for students at the University at Buffalo. ALL are welcome here 💙 UB St.

🙏 Students Masses are at 7 PM on Sundays during the Spring & Fall semesters

UB St. Joe's Catholic Campus Ministry serves the University at Buffalo by providing a place to experience community, explore spirituality, and discover ways to serve others through a faith that does justice. Joe's focuses on serving the students on UB's South Campus and the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, while partnering with the UB Newman Center on UB's North Campus and the Newman Center at Buffalo State University. We offer dynamic and reverent worship, compassionate pastoral care, and opportunities for transformative volunteer service, spiritual retreats, theological discussions, social justice advocacy, free meals, and more! We are here for the students and constantly seek out better ways to serve you. If you have a question or an idea of something you would like to see happen in campus ministry, please let us know.

🐈🐕🦎Cats, dogs, and a bearded dragon! This year’s Blessing of Pets had a variety of pets - all reminding us of the love of our Creator God. If you couldn’t make it, come for our Mass with Pets tomorrow at 7 pm or pray this prayer of blessing for them:

Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures.

You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air, and animals on the land.

You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters.

We ask you to bless this pet.

By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan.

May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation.

Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.

🐾 Bring your pets to church! Two options:
🐶 Saturday, Oct 3: Pet Blessing at 2 PM
🐱 Sunday, Oct 4: Mass with Pets at 7 PM

If your pet is not great with other animals, maybe come to the blessing instead. If you and your well-behaved pet are coming to Mass, we suggest coming a little early so you can settle in (and maybe find a college student or a few for your pet to hang out with during Mass)
