Join us for the Renovation Prayer Walk through our West Hertel neighborhoods on Saturday, May 30 at 11AM!

Hosted by the Reach, Prayer & Congregational Care Teams, we’ll gather in the Renovation parking lot before going out to pray over our community together. Please share with your teams and invite someone to join you!

Each walker is encouraged to bring one Scripture to share with their group as we pray and empower one another through the Word.

In this week’s message, we are challenged to confront the condition of our nation and, more importantly, the condition of our hearts. We cannot keep asking God to heal a land while we continue to normalize darkness, celebrate confusion, reject truth, and live disconnected from Him.

Somewhere along the way, many people traded conviction for comfort, prayer for performance, and relationship with God for empty religion. We want peace without repentance, healing without humility, and revival without surrender. But God is calling His people back to Him.

This image is not just about America.
It is about warning.
It is about grief.
It is about conviction.

But it is also about hope.

Because revival has never started in governments, trends, or social media debates. Revival starts when people humble themselves before God again. It starts when we pray instead of perform. When we repent instead of justify. When we stop asking God to bless our opinions and start asking Him to transform our hearts.

The melting flag is an invitation:
Wake up.
Pray again.
Seek God again.
Become light in the middle of darkness again.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Swipe through.
Reflect deeply.
And ask yourself:
What needs to change in me before I ask God to change the nation?

God is going to respond when the world steps too far out of order, that much is inevitable.

Psalms 82: 8 specifically reminds us that God will judge the earth, for ALL nations belong to Him.

All. Not just one…

The pressing question we must ask ourselves is what type of life are we upholding? Is it one of advocacy and justice… or are we sitting idol and turning a blind eye to the oppressors who operate in darkness?

Jesus set the perfect example for us to follow. He deliberately broke cultural and racial barriers in His life here on earth. It did not matter to Him if Jews were not meant to pay mind to samaritans, gentiles and so on. He continuously showed humility to all those who crossed His path.

Why? Because the law of God will forever triumph all earthly law.

As a church, it is our job to execute the power Jesus gave us when he died on the cross.

If we want to serve God, we simply must do our part in breaking the chains and barriers of unrighteous systems meant to harm and terrorize God’s beautiful creations.

God gave us a voice and those voices are meant to sound the alarm.

He is giving us the invitation to use His wisdom to save the world. Petition Him to change the heart of any ignorant person walking this earth and inflicting pain unto others.

Purification does not start in government buildings. It begins with us, the people who make up the body of the church.

Sin is not just personal — it becomes cultural, systemic, and governmental when power is abused.
Injustice is a purity issue because perversion is the opposite of purity.
And wherever authority is twisted, corrupted, or weaponized, God calls His people to stand, speak, and discern.

Jesus does not belong to any political party.
He is not Republican.
He is not Democrat.
He is not American.
He is Lord.

The kingdoms of this world belong to Him alone.
Political idolatry happens when people try to reshape Jesus into their ideology instead of submitting their ideology to His Lordship.

Silence is not spirituality.
Passivity is not holiness.
God calls His people to be watchmen — to uphold justice, righteousness, and truth in a world drowning in corruption and confusion.

This is not the time to be passive.
It is the time to be discerning.

What a powerful Pentecost Sunday at Renovation!!

Today’s message was simple but powerful — God hates injustice. And injustice is a sin. That means when we see wrong happening, we have to say something. We can’t just be quiet. If we love Jesus, we have to speak up.
