We haven't been together for a bit, and the world seems full of danger for us, especially for our precious trans brothers and sisters. Know that we love you, and that in Christ all things are possible.

Today we pray that the Lord may open the eyes of those who see us only through their fear, that He may deafen their ears to the falsehoods of the Adversary, and cast from them the demons that encase their hearts in ice.

Lord, help all of Your children today to lift their faces to the loving warmth of your countenance. Grant us Your grace and Your courage to walk amongst those who would cast us down, showing them through our actions and words the strength of our faith. Let us be living examples of Your love for all Your children.

In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.

I confronted someone who posted a reference to one of the so-called "clobber verses", in this case, the ever-popular story of S***m and Gomorrah in response to a meme that simply stated Jesus had nothing to say about transgender people.

What began with hostility on his part quickly revealed to me a fundamental lack of knowledge of scripture in this man. Because of what I have learned on our journey together I was patiently, and lovingly able to explain to him God's over-arching love for ALL of His children, the profound inclusiveness of Salvation, and even the New Covenant and the meaning of the story of the Tower of Babel. :)

Along the way he accused me of being a born again (got it right the first time, sorry ;) ,) Baptist (really, no,) Evangelical (MAYBE, a bit, praise Jesus.)

I pointed him towards a decent Bible app and encouraged him to read it.

I am grateful the Lord lent me some Grace yesterday afternoon so I didn't say what I really wanted to say to him. Praise Jesus! :) 🏳️‍🌈❤️✝️
