Union Baptist Church of Brusly Family & Friends,

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the homegoing arrangements for our faithful, lifelong member, Sister Elnora Knight.

Sister Knight faithfully served as a member of the Mass Choir and was a devoted attendee of Bible Study. Her love, faithfulness, and presence will be deeply missed by her Union Baptist Church family. We thank God for her faithful life and lasting legacy.

Father's Day 2026 🏆

We want to extend a huge "THANK YOU" to Mrs. Frenisha C. Ross for the outstanding job she did as Chairman of this year's Father's Day Program at UBC!

Frenisha truly rolled out the red carpet for the fathers of UBC with an unforgettable Hall of Fame-themed celebration. Every detail reflected the love, appreciation, and honor our fathers so richly deserve.

The program concluded with a delicious breakfast that included shrimp and grits, sausage and bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, toast, and freshly fried beignets. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, laughter, and celebration shared by everyone in attendance.

A Busy Summer at Union Baptist Church!

Union Baptist Church has had a busy and blessed summer! We’ve shared in fellowship, celebrated together, and made some wonderful memories along the way.

Be on the lookout for a recap of our summer events. We can’t wait to look back and share all that God has allowed us to experience together!

We hope you all have had a wonderful summer, as we look ahead to the fall season, may it be a time of blessing, rest, reflection, and renewal. As life begins to slow down, may we take time to pause, reflect, and appreciate all that God has done and continues to do.

As a new school year begins, let us join together in prayer for every student, teacher, faculty member, staff member, administrator, parent, volunteer, bus driver, cafeteria worker, coach, custodian, and every person who plays a part in the village it takes to raise our children.

God, we place this year in Your hands, trusting that You will lead, protect, and provide every step of the way.

Praying for a safe, successful, and blessed school year for everyone!
