As a new school year begins next week, our church family will be lifting our schools up in prayer.

We pray for our administrators, teachers and school staff, and our bus drivers as they safely transport our children.

We pray for our students and families as they support their children throughout the year. May they feel safe, loved, confident, and ready to grow.

May God place His hand of protection over every school, classroom, hallway, playground, cafeteria, and school bus. May He give wisdom to those who lead, patience and strength to those who serve, and peace and protection to every child who walks through the doors.

May God bless you and guide you throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

We forgot pictures, but we had a good time!

There was lots of good food, homemade ice cream, laughter, visiting, and just enjoying time together at our annual church picnic.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came, brought a dish, made ice cream, helped out, or just showed up ready to eat and fellowship! We’re pretty sure nobody went home hungry.

Days like today are a great reminder that church is about more than Sunday morning—it’s about doing life together, enjoying each other, and making memories along the way.

We are so thankful for our Powersville Christian Church family and everyone who spent the afternoon with us! What a fun day!

Join us this Sunday, August 9, immediately following our morning worship service for a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun!

🍦 Homemade Ice Cream? Yes, please! If you enjoy making homemade ice cream, we’d love for you to bring a freezer full to share. There’s nothing quite like homemade ice cream on a summer afternoon!

Whether you’re a longtime member, a first-time visitor, or somewhere in between, we hope you’ll stay after church and enjoy this special time together. It’s a great opportunity to relax, catch up with friends, meet new people, and spend time as a church family.

What an incredible day at Illumination Station VBS! ✨💡

Our church was filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and so much joy as we discovered that Jesus is the Light of the World! Through Bible lessons, crafts, games, music, snacks, and fellowship, our children were reminded that God’s light shines in every situation and that we are called to let our light shine for Him.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, teachers, kitchen crew, and everyone who helped make today so special. We are also grateful to every family who brought their children and to everyone who joined us for the hot dog cookout!

Our prayer is that the lessons learned today continue to shine brightly in the hearts of our children long after VBS is over.

Come discover how God's light shines in our lives through an afternoon filled with:
