Please join us in welcoming the Redden family to Fair Haven Camps! Calvin will be serving as our new Program Director and Makaila will be talking on the responsibilities of Office Manager and Marketing Director. We are truly grateful to have them serving in these roles!
Calvin and his wife Makaila have been married for 11 years and are the proud parents of their 3 children, Everest, Justus, and Coda. Together, they are passionate about building a Christ-centered home and raising their children to know and love the Lord deeply. Calvin grew up in Australia where his parents served as missionaries and church planters, and also lived several years at a Christian camp, “Camp Kedron,” where his mother served as the head cook. There, Calvin experienced firsthand the life-changing impact of camp and developed a lifelong passion for its unique ministry environment. Calvin and Makaila met at Bible college in California. Makaila was born and raised in Maine, and her parents were also church planters in their home town of Belfast. Calvin served in full-time ministry at Central Church in Augusta, Maine for six years. His heart has always been to preach God’s Word clearly, lead the church in worship, and call people to bold faith.
In 2024, God led their family on a journey that would take them back to Australia for a season, and eventually return to the United States. Calvin currently works as a local barber in Belfast where he continues to minister daily, having meaningful conversations, encouraging others, and living out his faith in practical ways.
Together, Calvin and Makaila see every space God places them in as part of their mission field. As a family, their mission is simple: to magnify The Lord together, in their home, in the church, and in everyday life. They are excited to see what the Lord is going to do in this next season and step of faith!
