Congratulations to our 2026 Annual Carl Brown Memorial Golf Scramble 1st place Winners, Team “Homegrown”. 🏆

Today was a beautiful day of golf and fellowship, with all proceeds going to benefit our Fair Haven Camps Scholarship fund to help children experience camp who may not otherwise get to!

⛳ ONE WEEK TO GO!

Who’s excited for the 19th Annual Carl Brown Golf Scramble?!?! We’re just one week away from our new tournament date of Saturday, September 19th at Country View Golf Club in Brooks!

We’ve heard from a number of teams confirming that they’ll be there, and so far, we haven’t heard from any who can’t make the new date. That means we currently have a FULL field of 18 teams! If your team’s plans have changed, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

🏆 And look who’s back in the lineup... Team Curtis, our 2025 champions, will be there looking to defend their title!

🔥 CAMP IS OVER… NOW WHAT?
Here are 10 ways to keep the fire going:
1. Don’t leave your faith at Camp:
What God started in your heart at Fair Haven was never meant to stay at Fair Haven. Take it home with you.
2. Stay in God’s Word:
When fear gets loud, listen to God’s gentle whisper, through His Word. Read it. Know it. Stand on it.
3. Keep praying:
When you’re worried, pray. When you’re afraid, pray. When you don’t know what to do, pray. “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” - Psalm 56:3
4. Choose faith when fear shows up:
Fear will still come. The goal isn’t to never feel afraid, it’s to trust God even when you are.
5. Get connected to a church:
You weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. Find a church where you can worship, grow, serve, and be encouraged.
6. Find people who will encourage you to keep going:
Stay connected with the friends, counselors, pastors, parents, and mentors who will point you back to Jesus when things get hard.
7. Keep worshiping:
The songs at camp may be over, but worship isn’t. Keep lifting your eyes toward Jesus, in the good days and the difficult ones.
8. Tell someone what God did at camp:
Don’t keep your story to yourself. Tell your family. Tell your friends. Tell your church. Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
9. Remember what God has already done:
When you face something scary or uncertain, look back and remember the ways God has been faithful. The God who met you at camp is the same God waiting for you at home.
10. Keep walking:
Faith isn’t a one-week experience. It’s a daily decision to follow Jesus, one step at a time. Even when it’s hard, even when you’re afraid, and even when you can’t see what’s ahead.

⛳ Golf Tournament Postponed ⛳

After closely monitoring the weather forecast, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 19th Annual Carl Brown Golf Scramble.

While we were looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday, we believe this is the best decision to ensure a safe and enjoyable tournament experience for all of our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers.
