Hello Veracity family! We hope you'll come join us for Wednesday night prayer group. There is no shortage of needs in our own church body, and around the world, so please come stand together as one body to seek the grace and mercy of God we so desperately need. As brothers and sisters in Christ, we need one another!

🙏 What is your relationship with prayer?

In Colossians 4:2, Paul calls us to “continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”

Prayer is more than a duty or a list of requests—it is our fellowship with God, our strength in spiritual battle, and a place where gratitude transforms our hearts.

This Sunday, we were challenged to ask: Are we steadfast in prayer? Are we watchful? Do we come before God with thanksgiving?

May we not grow weary or drift away, but become a people who pray together, stand firm, and trust God to do what we cannot do on our own.

We are still celebrating what God did this past Saturday!

We had an amazing time together enjoying a great picnic, fellowship, and—most importantly—celebrating 6 people who took the next step in their faith through baptism!

What a beautiful reminder of the transforming power of Jesus and the new life we have in Him. We are so proud of each person who publicly declared their faith and their decision to follow Christ!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Join us in celebrating these 6 lives and praying that they will continue to grow strong in their relationship with Jesus! 🙏

PAYING THE PRICE | Acts 6:8–15

Following Jesus doesn’t mean life will always be easy. Stephen faced opposition, lies, and false accusations—but through it all, he remained faithful and full of God’s grace.

His story reminds us that faithfulness to God doesn’t always lead us away from suffering, but it will always lead us closer to Him.

Problems are a part of life—even in a growing, healthy church. The question is not whether problems will come, but how we respond to them.

The early church chose to address the problem, serve one another, protect unity, and stay focused on the mission.

Don’t just complain about the problem—be part of the solution!

Hey Veracity family! This month we'll be coming together on Saturday August 15 for a picnic and several Baptism's! We hope you'll join us as we witness and celebrate these believers taking the next step in their faith, and enjoying a picnic lunch at Camp Fairhaven. This event will be in place of the usual community night, so please don't miss this chance to come together and fellowship for such an important moment in these peoples lives!
