Tyler Regnier joined Saint Paul’s as our seminarian this fall, while completing the third and final year of his Master of Divinity at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. Tyler is a candidate for ordination to the priesthood in the Diocese of Indianapolis, where his love and appreciation of the Anglo-Catholic tradition was shaped by his home parish, All Saints.
Prior to seminary, Tyler spent five years working as a financial advisor. Sensing a call to the priesthood, he then served a year in the Episcopal Service Corps, working as a lay chaplain at St. James School in Philadelphia. Before heading to seminary, he returned to Indianapolis to work with the Choir School at Christ Church Cathedral. Over the previous year, Tyler served as seminarian at Christ Church in Guilford, Connecticut, where he assisted the parish in preaching, liturgy, and fellowship.
When at Berkeley, Tyler serves as a hospitality minister, providing meals for his fellow seminarians and ensuring a warm welcome to visitors and other Yale students who find their way to Berkeley. He has been praying for our parish this summer and looks forward to getting to know each of you.
