For 40 years, Living Word Christian Center has been making an impact in the Brooklyn Park (Minnesota) community and surrounding areas. Living Word's weekly nondenominational church services bring the Word of God to visitors and members on a regular basis. Its outreaches and ministries are numerous; each one has impacted - and continues to impact - thousands. Senior pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond de

sire to spread the good news of the Gospel to as many people as possible. That purpose is accomplished through Living Word's vision:

Reaching people. There has never been a time in history in which it was more important to become connected to a church. This is true both for families and for individuals. A life-filled, Bible-teaching church is a refuge in stormy times, an anchor of stability in a world that seems to have lost all moorings. It is also a base from which to go out and effect positive change.

Through Christ, you have been made new. Your identity is not found in your failures, your emotions, or your past mistakes. It's found in what Jesus accomplished on your behalf. The more you see yourself the way God sees you, the more confidently you'll walk in faith, freedom, and purpose.

Everyone is investing in something.

Some invest in stocks. Some invest in businesses. Some invest in building wealth. But Jesus told us to invest in something even greater: treasures in heaven. The highest returns aren't found on Wall Street; they're found in living for eternity.

Every prayer prayed, every seed sown, every life impacted by the Gospel carries eternal value. What we sow in this life, we will reap for eternity. Don't spend your whole life investing in things that won't last. Be eternity-minded. Invest in what outlives you.

Many believers spend years trying to earn what Jesus has already provided through His finished work on the cross.

The Bible teaches that every believer is a new creation in Christ Jesus. Through salvation, God transforms the spirit and seals it with the Holy Spirit, creating a new identity that is righteous, holy, and accepted before Him.

Rather than approaching God through guilt, shame, or past failures, you are called to approach Him through the finished work of Jesus. The Gospel is not about striving to become accepted by God. It is about learning to live from the acceptance, righteousness, and authority already given through Jesus Christ.
