Edinbrook Church

Edinbrook Church OUR MISSION: To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We have something worth sharing ~ we are committed to do that with all our strength.

OUR VISION

To become a highly valued presence in our community as we intentionally practice Jesus-style love through proclamation and demonstration. At Edinbrook, we take Jesus’ words very seriously: “You are the salt of the earth.” We desire to season our world in a positive way, impacting our community and world as we reach beyond our immediate congregation.

God specializes in using the small, the weak, and the overlooked. 🌱
If you’ve ever felt like your life or efforts are too insignificant — this is for you.
What small step of faithfulness is He calling you to today?

Katelynn has been on staff at Edinbrook for a few months now and if you haven’t met her yet you should! Katelynn started out at Edinbrook Kids Minsitry volunteering and using her talents at Jingle Jam and with the Kids Musical. Here’s a note from Katelynn as she has stepped into the Elementary Kids Ministry Associate role:

It’s an honor to be taking on such an important role. I am passionate about raising up a generation that lives and believes the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I aspire to equip our children with the knowledge and skills to defend their faith, put on the armor of God, live by the Spirit, and abide in Him.

On this Memorial Day, our church family pauses to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. As Jesus taught, ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends’ (John 15:13). Their courage and selflessness remind us of the cost of freedom and the depth of sacrificial love. We pray for comfort for their families and eternal rest for their souls. 🇺🇸 Let us live lives worthy of their gift.

In a world full of “I’m a good person” thinking and comparison, we easily become Simon — minimizing our own sin while judging others. This parable shows that everyone’s debt is massive without Jesus. When we see the depth of our need, grace hits different — producing extravagant worship, humility, and freedom instead of cold self-righteousness or shame. Get off the ladder, hop in the elevator.

The gospel isn’t about trying harder, or doing better. It’s about trusting what God has already done on our behalf. Christianity begins and ends with good news. Not a ladder to climb or a standard to meet, but a rescue we receive.
