Sunday Message Recap 🤍🔥
“Don’t Be Fake With God” — Minister Melissa

Yesterday, Minister Melissa brought forth a powerful word reminding us of a simple truth:

You cannot be fake with God.

She took us to Jeremiah, where we are reminded that before God formed us, He knew us.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee...” – Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

Think about that.

God knows every detail about you.
Every thought.
Every struggle.
Every gift.
Every fear.
Every calling.

So why do we spend so much time trying to hide from the One who already knows us?

You can't run from Him.
You can't lie to Him.
You can't pretend to be something you're not.

God knows exactly who He created you to be.

Minister Melissa also brought us to Acts 5:1-11, the account of Ananias and Sapphira. Their story is a warning that God desires truth, honesty, and integrity. Not just in what we say, but in who we are.

Too often, we get distracted.
We focus on people.
We focus on circumstances.
We focus on everything except what God is trying to do within us.

And when we continuously resist Him, ignore Him, or choose our own way, we risk finding ourselves outside of His perfect will.

“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” – 2 Timothy 2:13 (KJV)

God is still God.

The question is: Are we willing to be honest with Him?

Honest about our weaknesses.
Honest about our sins.
Honest about our fears.
Honest about the calling we've been running from.

The Kingdom needs workers.
The Kingdom needs growth.
The Kingdom needs people who are willing to stop pretending and start surrendering.

So stop running from your purpose.
Stop hiding from your calling.
Stop being fake with God.

Because the One who created you already knows you—and He still loves you enough to call you. 🤍🙏

The question is this: What is the excuse now? 🤍

We talk about church hurt.
We talk about church people.
We talk about being overlooked, unused, misunderstood, or left out.

But when does it become about God again?

When do we decide that we're going to serve Him, worship Him, and obey Him regardless of what people do?

Because if we're honest, everybody in the Body of Christ is going to face disappointment at some point. Everybody will go through a trial. Everybody will experience something that tests their faith.

But God never told us to follow people. He told us to follow Him.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith...” – Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)

People may fail you.
People may overlook you.
People may misunderstand you.

But God has never failed.

So when do we stop saying:
"They hurt me."
"They ignored me."
"They didn't use me."
"They made me feel unwanted."

And start saying:
"Lord, what is my assignment?" 🙏

The enemy thrives in emotions, offense, and division.

“Neither give place to the devil.” – Ephesians 4:27 (KJV)

Every time we give offense a permanent home in our heart, we give the enemy room to work.

But God is concerned with purpose.
God is concerned with growth.
God is concerned with breaking, molding, and building us into who He called us to be.

Sometimes the very thing we're offended by is the thing God is trying to use to mature us.

So let's stop giving the enemy credit for every setback.
Let's stop giving him a foothold in our emotions.
Let's stop allowing temporary feelings to separate us from eternal purpose.

At the end of the day, I don't go for people.
I don't stay for titles.
I don't serve for recognition.

I go because He's worthy. 🤍🔥

And that's enough.

Can we normalize fellowship the old-school way again? 🤍✨

Back when churches visited each other just to break bread, laugh, worship, and build the Kingdom together. 🍗🙏

When the women gathered for retreats and prayer…
When the men sat together talking about leadership, family, and how to strengthen the people of God.

Back when holiness mattered more than appearances.
When truth mattered more than titles.

No gossip.
No unrighteous judgment.
No congregation stealing.
No competition.

Just unity. Just love. Just Kingdom work. 🔥

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” – Psalm 133:1 (KJV)

We are living in a time where we NEED each other.
Real fellowship.
Real support.
Real people of God without the drama.

So where y’all at? 👀🤍
Check in.

🔥 Sunday Message Recap 🔥
“Don’t Get Lost in the Number”
Subtitle: “Because you’re one step away from a terrible state.”

Minister Darnell came from Romans 1, starting at verse 18, and reminded us of something serious:

A lot of people are showing up… but they are not becoming action takers. 👀

They know God.
They hear the Word.
But there is no true transformation taking place.

By the time he reached Romans 1:23 and beyond, the warning became clear—when people continuously reject truth, ignore conviction, and play with sin, eventually God gives them over to their own desires.

That’s a dangerous place to be. 💔

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind…” – Romans 1:28 (KJV)

Too many people are playing church.
Planting bad seeds.
Being examples that lead others astray.

Showing up for attendance but not for salvation.
More worried about fashion, appearances, titles, and image than true repentance and growth.

But this walk starts in the mind. 🧠

If we never humble ourselves…
If we never examine ourselves…
If we continue being pew warmers instead of workers in the Kingdom… eventually there comes a time where conviction no longer moves us.

And like a good Father, God chastises the ones He loves. 🙏

This was a wake-up call:
Get it right while there is still time.
Not halfway. Not emotionally. Truly.

Because mercy is available… but we should never abuse grace. 🔥✨

🤍 SOULFUL SUNDAY 🤍

We’re looking for those who are looking for Christ. 🙏🔥

The walls cannot hold us.
For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been taking the Gospel into the community—and this Sunday, we’re doing it again.

We’ll be outside of the four walls at Our Hair Cutters, bringing God’s presence, praise, love, and truth directly to the people. ✨

No pressure. No performance.
Just real people seeking a real God.
