Worship is at the heart of all we do here at Bridgeport UMC. The beauty of our worship setting, enhanced by the wide variety of musical talent and choirs we have in this congregation, combine with the faithfulness of the people and the power of God’s Word to make these celebrations memorable and deeply moving. During worship we seek to praise God and celebrate his love for the world in his Son, Je

sus Christ. Each weekend, worshippers can choose to experience God through any of four worship experiences:
Saturday - 6:15 p.m. (an informal service that is marked by a casual atmosphere)
Sunday - 8:30 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. (traditional services)
Sunday - 9:45 a.m. at our Johnson Avenue Campus
*Childcare is provided at each service

A variety of Bible Study classes are offered throughout the week for all age groups, along with Sunday School classes at 9:30am. Our youth, young adult, and adult groups allow our Church family to grow together as Christians and followers of Jesus Christ. There are many ways you can become involved in our Church's mission and ministry...and it's easier than you think! Visit our website or contact the Church office for more information.

Yesterday, we celebrated Acension Sunday at Bridgeport UMC. As we worshipped our risen and ascended Lord, we also honored our graduates.

We heard the song of heaven in Revelation and were reminded that our lives find their meaning in the One upon the throne and the Lamb who was slain.

We are proud of these students and are praying for them as they step into their next chapter. Congratulations, Class of 2026!
