Continuing our study in the Psalms with Psalm 3 and 4. The Psalms are a great collection of songs and prayers expresses the heart and soul of humanity. In them we find the whole range of human experiences expressed. David and the other writers honestly poured out their true feelings, reflecting a dynamic, powerful, and life-changing friendship with God. The psalmists confess their sins, express their doubts and fears, ask God for help in times of trouble, and praise and worship him.

AFRICA IN FOCUS: A Prayer for Great Awakening!

“Call upon Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things…”;
“Call upon Me in the time of trouble and I will answer you that My name may be glorified”;
“You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest until [He answers]” (Jeremiah 33:3; Psalm 50:15; Isaiah 62:6b-7).

Let us answer God’s invitation to call upon Him.

Join us tomorrow as we cry to our God to send a wave of revival in Africa, so that Africa will no longer be called a dark continent, but a continent of light.

How should we live?
This is a question every authentic Christian must answer. If eternity is real, if Christ will appear, and if we will one day stand before Him, then our lives cannot be stagnant. The hope fixed on Christ must change and shape our desires, put our priorities in order and move us toward holiness, faithfulness, and deeper devotion to God.
