Coming all the way from Albuquerque, New Mexico, we bring to you another Woosley Women Wednesday! This week we are recognizing Rev. Lisa Cook.

Rev. Lisa Cook worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years as a Sr. Project Manager for AT&T, before answering the call to ministry.
Lisa graduated in 2008 from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN, with a B.A. in Business and Organizational Development. Following graduation, she attended Memphis Theological Seminary, earning her Masters of Divinity in 2013 with honors. Lisa was then ordained by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and called to serve as a street chaplain to those experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty in Nashville, TN.
Lisa serves this unique church / community through Sacred Sparks Ministry, an outreach of Nashville Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The purpose of the ministry is to meet men and women experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty where they are, and to offer a ministry of presence, love, pastoral care, outreach, and relationships. At this year's Reception for Women in Ministry sponsored by MMT and MTS, held at the joint Convention/General Assembly in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lisa was recognized as the first ever Cumberland Presbyterian Stateside Clergy Woman of the year.
