Post on my Caringbridge site:
I've had to make health therapies a priority once again.
In December my conventional oncologist expressed concern as my CT scan indicated a growing nodule in my lung. Since the nodule is still too small to biopsy, they are just watching it. However, because I also work with a functional health provider, he suggested a test which I did in January.
This test measures circulating tumor cells (CTC). The results show the CTC count is just above the remission line, so we believe with some intentional therapies, we can get the numbers into the remission category.
The second part of my test provided information on what can be used to fight these specific cancer cells. My functional health provider recommended a 3-month regimen using this information, and then I will take the test again to see if the CTC count is going down.
Because of all the positive lifestyle changes I've made in the past year, I feel very well. I am also very grateful for all the open doors God has given to me to minister to others who are on a cancer journey.
Please pray for more opportunities to minister as I proceed on this health journey. Also, please pray for a financial miracle since functional health therapies are not covered by insurance. In addition, it's the beginning of the year so my conventional medical bills are not covered because of the huge health insurance deductible.
Thank you. I am so grateful for all of you who have been a support to me during these last few years!
