We were not designed to live isolated lives.

From the beginning, God made people for relationship, first with Him, then with one another. The picture in Acts 2 is a reminder of what that is supposed to look like. Believers gathered, learned together, prayed together, shared meals, supported one another, worshiped together, and carried each other through the joys and burdens of life.

That is church.

Not a building. Not a stage. Not a performance. Church is the body of Christ living in community.

Find a faithful church that teaches the Bible, loves people, serves its community, and points people to Jesus. Then do more than attend. Participate. Encourage someone. Bring a meal. Pray with someone. Learn a name. Invite a family over. Be the church member you hope to find.

Be the church.

And this Sunday, go to church.

The case centers on whether Nemours Children’s Hospital violated the Florida Civil Rights Act in 2021 when it fired HVAC Technician Christian Marin for not getting the COVID-19 shot due to his pro-life Christian convictions. The Florida Commission on Human Relations wrongly determined Marin’s religious-based refusal presented an “undue hardship” on the company and ruled his firing did not violate the FCRA.

A real American mother just showed the country what actual love looks like.

Bonnie Pierce, 38, a St. Paul, Minnesota mother of four, died Monday after she ran back into her burning duplex to save her toddler daughter.

Firefighters found the unresponsive mom shielding little Grace with her own body. Pierce had already made it outside. She went back in anyway.

That is motherhood.
