Church rummage sale continues today, May 8, until 6 pm with everything 1/2 price this afternoon. Great bargains remain. Supporting Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls. Let's help them help those less-fortunate than us.

RUMMAGE SALE THIS WEEK -
Please bring your donations to Mike & Ardell Bonde's garage immediately behind the church today or tomorrow at 125 E Leighton and plan to attend. Contact Linda Granberg or Lynne Erickson with any questions.
May 7th & 8th, from 8-6, we will be participating in the
annual citywide rummages. Thank you to Mike & Ardell for their support and the use of their garage. All donations will go to the Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls to help keep them open to the homeless.
UGM has served 51,293 meals this year, provided 14,381 nights of shelter and serve about 130 guests nightly and have given out 2612 food boxes to keep the homeless fed. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to share Jesus with the "least of these."

Many thanks for your prayer support on our recent mission trip to Jamaica. We are to pass along our thanks to Spirit of Truth for your generous support annually. Thanks so much, Lynne Erickson, Jami Andersen, Linda Granberg, and Paula Merkouris
Robin's Nest has recovered well from the hurricane and had a new playground delivered while we were there plus the girls' room that was destroyed was being rebuilt.
Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf is still struggling as their kitchen was destroyed and is now getting flooded again with rain. They have set up a small temporary one in the dining hall but keep them in your prayers.
Green Heights Church only had 2 broken windows, praise God. They have served as a distribution center for donations to those less fortunate and have traveled to those places that have been hit the hardest to lend a hand and words of encouragement. They have adopted a church that was totally flattened in St. Elizabeth Parish. To God be the glory for protecting our missions in Jamaica.

Congratulations to our graduates:
Graduates from High School: Gabriella Hanson, Miles Krumvieda and Lillian Sprecher.
Graduates from College: Nichole Hansen, Danny Hartog and Hannah Sprecher.

In the fall, Miles plans to attend Dakota State University to study Information Technology. We look forward to seeing how God will guide him in this next chapter. Please join us in congratulating Miles and keeping him in your prayers.
Danny Hartog, oldest daughter of Tim and Shannon Hansen, will graduate from Dakota State University in Madison, SD, on Saturday, May 9 , 2026. She is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with minors in Reading, Educational Technology, and English as a New Language.
Nichole Hansen, youngest daughter of Tim and Shannon Hansen, will graduate from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA on Saturday, May 9, 2026. She is graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Journalism.

SUNDAY SCHOOL WRAP-UP CELEBRATION Today, Sunday, April 26, was the final day of Sunday school.
First, we want to thank those who help with and teach Sunday school. God bless you!
Today was celebrated with a fun and memorable outing to Reptile
Adventure Zoo.

Pizza and fruit were served before going to the zoo. Thanks, parents, for making sure your kids get to Sunday school throughout the year. Thanks to Spirit of
Truth Lutheran Church for covering all expenses today.

Guess who's going to be a grandma? Yes, there is a baby shower at the church this Sunday, April 26, from 1-3 for Kindra Clark Decker. Come, join the celebration of Tana becoming a grandma and Kindra a mom. It seems like just yesterday she was being confirmed.
