In last weekend's message, we reflected on the powerful words of Matthew 5:48: “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” At first, this might seem overwhelming, but let’s explore what Jesus truly invites us into.
Jesus isn’t asking us to strive for unattainable perfection on our own. Instead, He calls us to rely on His grace, surrender to His transforming power, and trust in His mercy. Through His sacrifice on the cross, our sins are forgiven, and He continually works in us to shape our hearts and lives.
Remember, the God who named every star in the universe and intricately wove you together in your mother’s womb has a plan for you. He knew your journey before your first breath and promises to walk with you through every season, even the challenging ones.
God invites us into a relationship with Him, to partner with Him in fulfilling His purpose for our lives. Isn’t it amazing that the sovereign Creator of all things desires to walk alongside us in this journey? Let’s surrender more deeply, walk faithfully, and embrace the life He’s crafted for us.
