We need some help to make Pride a success for our community partner in BGO Pride! We need some people to be in the church to guide people as well as to have someone in the building at all times during the event. We can also use some people to help set up tables and chairs and take in tables and chairs the day of the event. If you can help with this you can sign up using the link here:

The sort of peace that the Holy Spirit gives bloom to is for both now and forevermore – that is to say, this is a peace that can and should permeate our lives now, but is also the sort of peace that will mark the character of our days in God’s eschaton. As such, there is a dialectic wherein we understand peace today as being more than the absence of conflict because our sense of peace has been informed by the eschaton, while at the same time, we can better anticipate and understand the eschaton by looking at those places today (rare though they may be) that demonstrate a justice-filled-peace.
