Zahalka Pastor Kay Cornell, Pianist We are two churches but we worship as one! We serve one Lord, share one faith, and celebrate the baptism of choice. We enjoy both our unity and our diversity. We belong to two denominations, Presbyterian and Baptist, and happily support the work of the Presbyterian Church, USA, and of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and of the American Baptist Churches US.

We welcome fellow believers from all denominations and backgrounds to join us in spiritual worship, in study of the Scriptures, in nurturing fellowship, and in service to the community. If you are looking for a church home, we would love to count you as a member of our fellowship.

The church should be a lighthouse on a hill. Guiding the community, pointing people toward our Lord and Savior... That beautiful light, that says all are welcome… Come and hear the good news... Come and be fed. Come and feel included. Communion Sunday. All are welcome at the table of Christ.

I will be sharing a message about the complex nature of fatherhood—covering the good and the challenging, as well as the experiences of those with fathers present or absent. We will also celebrate the mentors, friends, and father figures who have stepped into our lives to fill those roles. Please join us!

Join us this Sunday, June 14th, for our service as we explore the sermon "You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made." We will dive into a meaningful study of self-image, the false images we encounter, and the image of God we are called to reflect.

I am sharing our Litany for this week, which speaks volumes:

(inspired by Romans 13: 11-14 and Matthew 24: 36-44)

What has the Lord called you to do?

He has called us to wake from sleep,
to wake up and hear,
to wake up and see.

What has the Lord shown to you?

A new life, a new world, a different set of priorities.
Freedom from the tyranny
of desiring and acquiring.

Wake up, wake up! Hear the invitation that echoes through the centuries.
Welcome the Way of Christ, fully awake, open eyes, ears, and hearts.
Come find your freedom in what the Lord has called you to do!
Amen.

Join us this Sunday, June 7th, as we explore the theme of possibilities. We know that with God, all things are possible. Reflecting on the stories of Moses in Exodus and the faithful father in Mark, we are reminded that even the obstacles we face today—no matter how insurmountable they seem—can be overcome through faith. Even if your faith feels as small as a mustard seed, there is no limit to what God can do.

With God, "All Things Are Possible." May your faith be strengthened this week!

However, it’s coming from the flock and not from the Shepherd, but give Him time… God will render His judgment in his time and space...
