Our church family has been working on a project to help someone near and dear to us, while also supporting the adoption plans of a different someone near and dear to us! An organization called Both Hands works to help widows or widowers in local communities with home maintenance projects, while also helping adoptive families raise money for their adoption costs. It’s James 1 in action, helping both the widows and the orphans together!
Our dear friend, and past CCCC Cook, Roberta Stacey is the widow that we are blessed to bless in this project! Michael and Naomi Kranz are the adopting couple and who are no strangers to Community Church. Naomi is also the administrative secretary at CCCC. We’re excited to tell you all that thanks to the very generous donation of kitchen flooring from Carpet World Bismarck and our favorite local flooring installer, who would likely rather remain anonymous, Mrs. Roberta already has new kitchen floors, which was a definite need for her! This weekend the team will be moving onto other home improvement projects like replacing old decking, replacing screens, and help with organizational projects. We are so, so grateful to belong to such an amazing community who loves to serve each other while also serving God!
