Strategic Prayer West Virginia

Strategic Prayer West Virginia Invite Christians to join together in West Virginia to pray strategically for Spiritual Revival If we want to revive our country, we need to revive the Church.

We believe our whole community will change if God's people breathe strategic prayers! The Apostle Paul in Eph. 6:18, after he talks about the Spiritual Battle (our battle is not against flesh & blood) and the necessary armor EVERY Christian needs, in view of all of this he says to be in "prayer and supplication for ALL the saints!"

Strategic Prayer is praying for the spiritual battles every Chris

tian is facing. If we want to revive the Church, we need every Christian thirsting after righteousness!

What will our children and the next generation inherit from us? Our hearts weep at the brokenness of the family structure in our nation. The heartache & horrific brokenness of families is a major sign that God is removing His blessing from our nation. It is not just the society around us, it is tragically in the church as well. God longs to restore the years the locust has eaten and bless families in our nation if we will just seek His face and ask!

Let’s breathe a prayer for families today! Ask God to help Christians prosper, marry and have children so they can be a blessing and a testimony to a world looking for answers. Pray for Christian families to stay together and to follow Biblical commands on family relationships. Pray for a great restoration and healing of the family in our nation!

Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise. Proverbs 11:29

Our local and city governments are spiritual battlefields. Our local leaders are being pressured to pass laws and ordinances that adversely affect and limit freedoms. We know who is behind these moves (principalities & powers). But we know God can apply pressure to change the minds and hearts of decision makers and even restrain evil through the Spirit of God. When prayer increases, the movement of the Spirit of God also increases.

Breathe a prayer for our local City/Town/County Leadership that they would be moved by the fear of God as they make decisions. Pray for their salvation in Jesus Christ. Pray for protection of Christians from laws and ordinances that go against our beliefs.

Confuse the wicked, O Lord, confound their speech, for I see violence and strife in the city. Day and night, they prowl about on its walls; malice and abuse are within it. Destructive forces are at work in the city; threats and lies never leave its streets. Psalms 55:9-11

The news of the last few years should open our eyes to how fragile freedom is and the growth of ideologies that are promoting immorality. We, the Church, really need to wake up! We need Spiritual Revival. The only solution: The Spirit of God will bring Revival if His people will pray. Nothing is impossible if we will pray.

Breathe a prayer for every Christian to seek the face of God! Pray for the Spirit of God to restore our prodigal sons and daughters! Pray for Christians to love one another! Pray for Christian Leaders to speak the truth in love. Pray for our government and secular leaders to fear God. Pray for non-believers to be convicted of sin, righteousness and judgment.

He (Jesus) replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

There’s a whole lot of gambling and greed in our country these days. Many politicians are gambling with our future by putting our country in more debt and promoting financial management ideas that have never worked in the past. At the same time, they profit from their decisions. At the grass roots level, many also gamble with their money or greedily take from others to satisfy their need. While “officially,” only 3% of the population suffers from the addiction, we know it is a wider problem that affects many families, children and even communities. It is also a serious problem in our culture.

Breathe a prayer against the Gambling, Greed, and the Pursuit of Money that dominates the lives of many. Pray for God’s provision for His children and for them to be protected from the love of money and to be content with what God has given them. Pray for the families, children and communities harmed by these pursuits. Pray for people to put their faith and trust in God for their needs instead of desiring more for themselves.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. I Timothy 6:10

It really should be a common practice in our churches today. The Apostle Paul tells us when one part of the Body of Christ is suffering, we should all suffer with them. Our Persecuted Family (aka The Persecuted Church) is suffering every day. We have brothers and sisters in Christ who have been in prison and labor camps for years and even decades. Their only “crime”…believing in Jesus Christ. Shouldn’t we regularly take moments to remember and pray for them…and shouldn’t it start in our churches?

Breathe a prayer for the protection, provision and perseverance of our Persecuted Family. Pray for open doors for them to share their faith. Ask God to strengthen the Christian leaders. Pray for more laborers in the Persecuted Church. Pray for the Spirit of God to open the blinded eyes of the militants and unbelievers so they will place their faith in Jesus Christ.

“But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” From I Corinthians 12:24-26

There are some voices in our country that would like to strip Religious Freedom from our nation. Evil principalities and powers are constantly at work to limit or destroy this freedom. We need millions of Christians breathing Strategic Prayers to preserve our freedom. If we don’t pray, we may very well lose this precious freedom.

Breathe a prayer and thank God for the freedom we have. Ask Him to preserve that freedom for our children. Pray for God’s protection from bad laws and ordinances that go against our faith. Ask God to help us stand together in love…especially when other Christian’s faith is challenged. Pray for the eyes of our government and secular leaders to be opened to the reason why religious freedom is so important!

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13

If we see Christians in need and turn away, 1 John 3:17 asks, “How can the love of God be in us?” Jesus gave us the New Command in John 13:34-35 to love our fellow followers of Christ because it is essential for the Body of Christ and brings the light of the gospel to a lost and dying world. Yet, many in the Church believe that loving one another isn’t that important and most Christians do little to demonstrate their love for their brothers and sisters in Christ. Prayer may be one of the best ways we can show our love for one another because we don’t know every Christian in our city, state and country & world…but God does.

Breathe a prayer today for Christians to love one another! Pray for Christians to not seek their own but to cherish, honor, forgive and encourage each other. Pray for Spirit of God to open our eyes to see the needs of Christians here and around the world! Pray for more Christians to engage in prayer for the spiritual needs of the Body of Christ.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 1 John 3:16-17

According to the CDC, some 145,000 people die each year in the U.S. from alcohol-related causes. But that doesn’t tell the story of the impact to families and children and even communities. Too many people, including Christians, use alcohol to numb the emotional and physical pains of hurt in their lives. Then, their hurt is passed on to their families and friends through their actions. Your brief prayers please.

Breathe a prayer of protection for Christians from addiction to alcohol and from the impact of others who abuse it. Pray for people to find forgiveness and freedom in Jesus Christ instead of trying to numb their pain through drinking. Pray for the healing of children, families and communities harmed by this problem.

Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine, And valiant men in mixing intoxicating drink, Isaiah 5:22

Since Jesus gave us the command of the Great Commission, the heart of every Christian should be in this spiritual battle! The need is urgent! The spiritual blindness is great! And time is short! We should ask the Spirit of God to remove the blindness and to guide and equip every effort so that everyone can hear the good news! Your brief prayers are instrumental to the work of the Spirit of God around the world!

Breathe a prayer for every Christian and missionary to be effective in fulfilling the Great Commission…especially in closed countries and resistant cultures. Pray for the Spirit of God and the Word of God to open the eyes of non-Christians to see their need of a Savior. Pray for a blessing on every effort to reach the world for Christ (radio, tv, events, translation teams, back office work)!

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor. 1:18

Some things we know: God’s Kingdom is eternal. The earth is not. In heaven, God’s will is done. Jesus asked us to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In heaven, love reigns supreme, justice is absolute and righteousness is the standard. Again, Jesus said to pray for the Father’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. When you think about it, those are pretty major things Jesus said to pray for. Maybe God wants to accomplish more on earth than we thought…at least we are instructed to pray that way.

Breathe a prayer for God’s Kingdom to come. Pray for His Will to be done in our country and the nations around the world. Pray for every Christian to be more “Kingdom-minded.” Pray for the unsaved to kneel before Jesus and find forgiveness and salvation at the foot of the cross!

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

The Hand of our God and the fulfillment of prophecy are the only reasons for the existence of Israel today! Yes, God is watching over the descendants of Abraham! (As Christians, we are grafted into God’s family.) But Israel is at war and has many enemies seeking her destruction. Iran continues to say they want to wipe Israel off the map. God has promised to bless those who bless them in this Great Spiritual Battle of our Generation!

Pray for the blessing and peace of Jerusalem and Israel. Pray for Israel’s protection. Pray for the Jewish (and all the people who live there) to recognize Jesus as their Savior!

The Apostle Paul said, “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.” Romans 10:1

It seems that we see more and more people suffering from disease and mental health issues…including Christians. But God promises to bring healing if we will humble ourselves, pray, seek His face (His priorities) and turn from our wicked ways. The number of suicides alone should cause us to seek the face of God. If we really loved each other, wouldn’t we make prayer a priority? As followers of Christ, we should look to our Great Physician first in contrast to our culture where drugs or alcohol are often used to numb the pain.

Breathe a proactive prayer today for God’s blessing to give Christians the health to serve Him and others. Pray for the healing of millions of Christians who are sick. Pray for the faith, comfort and peace of the saints and their families who are suffering from health problems. Pray for non-Christians to find the healing of their sin-sickness through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases…Psalms 103:2-3
