Communicating the gospel in love requires a pure heart, a good conscience and sincere faith. We need to be transformed by Jesus, walking with Jesus and to communicate the gospel to others sincerely through our faith in Jesus and not in our own power.

1 Timothy 1:3-7; Psalm 51:10-12 Paul identifies three essentials for teaching the gospel in love: a pure heart transformed by Jesus, a good conscience free from unconfessed sin, and sincere faith focused on Christ rather than self. These aren't three separate achievements but a unified posture of walking with God.

Notice the progression: transformation begins with Jesus making our hearts pure through His blood. We maintain closeness through confession, keeping short accounts with God. Finally, we guard our motives, ensuring our faith remains genuinely about Jesus, not our reputation or agenda.

This isn't about perfection but direction. Are you moving toward Jesus daily, allowing Him to cleanse, convict, and center you? The gospel flows most powerfully through lives continuously surrendered to His transforming work.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are grateful for their sacrifice, and we pray for the families who carry both pride and loss. May we never take freedom for granted, and may we continue to live with gratitude, humility, and hope.
