We're excited to hear from one of our new online members, Mark Nilson, on Sunday.

Mark Nilson is the pastor of Salem Covenant Church in Worcester, MA. September marks his twelfth year of ministry at Salem. His previous charges were in South Plainfield, NJ; Batavia, IL; Seattle, WA; and Chicago, IL. Mark serves on many boards and committees. Currently, he is President of Worcester Interfaith, a board member of Briarwood Retirement Community, and the Guild of St. Agnes Early Childhood Center. Mark was ordained and has served churches within the Evangelical Covenant Church, but was recently, and most happily, ordained (July 2026) in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Mark is married to Robin, an Interior Decorater in Boston. They have two sons; Aaron is married to Rachael - they have one child, Opal, who is 18 months old, and they live in Seattle; and Chase, who is married to Hector Edoardo Garcia, and they live in Portland, OR.

We were out on a lovely night at the Student Activities Fair at Bethany College. We told new students God is proud of them, invited them to Bible study, and shared good news with folks that needed it.

We will celebrate the life of Becky Ayers and surround her family with prayers. Visitation at Reasner Funeral home on Saturday, August 29. A short service begins at 2 pm.
