United Women in Faith would like to thank everyone who donated to our bake sales held during Wellsburg UMC soup sales. It was a big help enabling us to complete our missions. Last Tuesday was the last soup & bake sale until fall.

There is a table in the post office where you can write a thank you to our troops. Write a note of appreciation to an active-duty service member, buy a stamp, get an envelope to brighten the day of a lonely service member with your words of gratitude. Make a difference!

2026 SPRING LAY SERVANT ACADEMY will take place on Saturdays, April 25 and May 2 at Wellsburg United Methodist Church. This is presented by the Northern District Lay Servant Ministries team. Three classes will be offered: the Basic Course lead by Pat Ramsey CLM (which you must start with if you have never had a class from us); Leading Public Prayer lead by Heidi Schmidt, Certified Lay Minister; and Living our United Methodist Beliefs (U.M. Heritage) lead by Mary Francis Tennant, Certified Lay Speaker. Easter Vacation Bible School for Children from K – 6th grade will be held at Wellsburg UMC on March 27, 2026 from 5 PM to 8 PM. The lessons are to guide children through Holy Week. Adult help is needed.
