We praise God, the source of freedom and life and all things good, for the church and for our nation, for this day in which we celebrate the endurance and blessing of our nation, and we pray for His guidance and strength over the journey that lays ahead, may we run a good race!
Father, continue to do a good work in us until the coming of Your son, Christ Jesus,
Thank You for the manifold blessings bestowed upon us – for our freedoms and government and foundational documents that all have their roots in You, we pray they remain firmly and assuredly connected to the Vine until the day of Jesus Christ.
Lord, Your Word from which all freedom flows, prevails. Continue to lead us into places of blessing where men and women, created in Your image, may freely come to You, to know You and realize the fullness of life You have promised all may have in You; “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full.”
Please forgive us for the times we have stumbled astray and guide us as we continue to pursue Your will for our nation.
All wisdom and power and glory are Yours! We praise You and give You thanks! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
