We live in a world that measures by status, and visibility.

But Jesus measures by surrender.

The widow didn’t give what she wouldn’t miss, she gave what she couldn’t afford to lose. That’s trust. That’s worship. Just a few days later, Jesus would give up EVERYTHING so that we could be forgiven of sins and have an unbroken relationship with God!

Thank you Jesus for your ultimate surrender and sacrifice. May we live and reflect that sacrifice in our day to day lives as your beloved children. Amen! 🕊️

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to others.

We pray for the families in our community carrying the weight of loss, asking God to bring comfort, peace, and hope to every grieving heart. As community we celebrate together and we grieve together 🫶 no one ever has to do it alone.

May we never forget the sacrifice made, and may we continue to love and support one another well.

This past Sunday we had the privilege of hearing from a ministry we love and support as a church. Royal Family Kids is an amazing ministry that serves foster kids in Whatcom county. This summer they are holding a week long camp to pour love, hope, and joy into the lives of these kids. & they need YOUR help!

Be the hands and feet of Jesus this summer and volunteer with Royal Family Kids June 22-26! They are looking for people to serve as photographers, videographers, counselors, full or part time staff, or on the kitchen crew!

We love celebrating our fiercely devoted and loving mothers in our church. They are women of great treasure to us. We also had 6 child dedications! We are seeing a new generation being committed to the Lord. There is nothing greater!
