Cornwall Church Helping people find and follow Jesus

HERE'S HOW WE'RE GATHERING:

Saturday | 5 PM
Sunday | 9 AM + 11 AM

Our Mission:
Glorify God by being a Christ-centered community where people discover and become all God created them to be. Our Vision:
“To alter the spiritual landscape one life at a time through Jesus Christ.”
Cornwall is a movement of individuals seeking to live out God’s vision for our church. God’s call on us is not to simply “go to church” but to leave the building and “be the church.” To get

outside of our walls and make a difference in the lives of those we live around, work with, have fun with and share life with. We believe that as people enter the doors of Cornwall, they discover the life-changing message of Christ (come and see). Then they immerse themselves with others in community where they can grow in the knowledge of God (community). Subsequently, they live by serving others and entering into authentic, life-changing relationships with them (go and be). Through these three lenses: Come and See, Community and Go and Be, we strive to alter the spiritual landscape one life at a time.

MADE NEW. 💧
Baptism is more than a moment in the water. It’s a public step of faith—a bold, beautiful declaration that Jesus has changed your life.

On Wednesday, September 16, we’re gathering as a church to celebrate stories of lives made new. If you’ve put your faith in Jesus and you’re ready to take the next step of baptism, this could be your moment.
“Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4
Ready to take the step? Visit cornwallchurch.com/baptism.

We’d love to connect with you, answer your questions, and walk with you as you take this step of faith.

And Cornwall family—come celebrate! 🎉

Life can be really hard and really good at the same time. God is with you in both.

He will see you through, and He is faithful. He knows us, and He is with us.

Life isn’t always hills and valleys. Sometimes joy and pain run side by side.

Even in the hardest seasons, there is still something to thank God for. And even in the best seasons, there is still room to grow.Joseph understood this.

Joseph didn’t deny his pain. He didn’t pretend the suffering never happened. But he refused to let his problems become his focus.
The focus was always on God.

You can focus on your problems, or you can focus on your purpose. You can stay consumed by what hurts, or lift your eyes to the One who is still working—even in the land of your suffering.

Whatever season you’re walking through today, look for what God is doing. There is always something good to thank Him for.

The focus is always on our faithful God.

Camp update 🏕️
Friendships are forming. Leaders are awesome. Jesus is moving. 🤍
Keep praying with us—for friendships, our leaders, encounters with Jesus, and lives changed.
This is what camp is all about.

And they’re off! 3 days to make memories, build friendships, and encounter Jesus. Cornwall Youth, we’re praying for you.

What if following Jesus isn’t primarily about trying harder to do the right things—but about becoming the kind of person who naturally lives like Jesus?

In Genesis 42–44, we see God working beneath the surface, bringing transformation to Joseph’s brothers. Their story reminds us that true change goes deeper than behavior modification. God wants to transform our hearts so that sacrificial love, forgiveness, humility, and Christlike character become the natural fruit of our lives.

Transformation is easier to talk about than to experience—but that’s exactly the work God invites us into.

We don’t just want to do what Jesus said. We want to become the kind of people who naturally do it.

Sometimes God calms the storm.
Sometimes He calms us in the storm.

Joseph’s story reminds us that faithfulness isn’t always about getting out of the storm—it’s about asking God to help us be fruitful right in the middle of it.

“Lord, get me out of here.”
But if You don’t…
“Would You help me be fruitful in the midst of the storm?”

Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh, saying, “God has made me forget all my trouble…” And his second son Ephraim, saying, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”
- Genesis 41:51–52

Fruitfulness doesn’t always wait for the suffering to end.

Sometimes God meets us, grows us, and makes us fruitful right where we are.
