The Evangelical Covenant Church is a rapidly growing multiethnic denomination in the United States and Canada with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the word of God, the gift of God’s grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through a faith with Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God’s love and compassion

to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity. The Evangelical Covenant Church is:

All students, teachers, and administrators are invited to bring their backpacks to church on Sunday, August 30, as we pray over them and the new school year. Each will receive a keychain for their backpack as a reminder that God goes with them.

This Sunday, we will have two services. Join us at Bryce Creek Campground (9635 Heady Road, Sumas) for an outdoor, inter-generational service at 10 AM, or join us at BCC at 9:30 AM. Please note that we will have nursery care and busy bags, but no other children’s programming at the BCC location. There will be no livestream of the service this week.

To make room for the growth we’ve been experiencing at BCC, we are expanding our sanctuary by an additional 14 rows this summer. We recently launched a capital campaign to raise $225,000 for this initiative. To learn more or to donate to this project, you can go to bellinghamcov.org/making-room.
