You won’t want to miss this! 🎊

This Sunday, we’re celebrating New Hope’s 10 Year Anniversary, and we want everyone to be there! Our East African sisters and brothers will join us in worship during Modern and Sanctuary services, and Pastor Alexis, the Lay Pastor for and one of the founders of the New Hope community, will be preaching in all four services. Afterwards, at 4:30pm in the Community Center, there will be a joyful time of dancing, worship, reflection, and prayer where we can celebrate as one community.

We feel eternally amazed and blessed by God to see his multicultural vision come to life on our campus, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone together as one church! 🧡

Tomorrow is BAPTISM SUNDAY! It’s a day when we bond across services as we celebrate the people choosing to dedicate or rededicate their lives to Jesus. It’s a celebration of God’s redeeming grace and love, and for all the work he’s done and will do in the lives and stories of the people in our church. We invite you to join us in supporting those affirming their faith and giving it all to Jesus! 🤲

It also isn’t too late to sign up for baptism yourself, or to come up during the service to be baptized, if you feel led! Tomorrow we’ll have elders on hand to pray with you and help prepare your heart before you take that next step, and from there, we will cheer you on! We love Mrs. Lisa, and we will miss her so much! 🩷

This Sunday, June 7th, we’ll be honoring Mrs. Lisa and all the ways she has blessed so many kids and families through her ministry over the years. We invite you to join us in the celebration of the loving and faithful woman she is by meeting at the playground outside of the upper campus after either the 9am or 11am services!

And if Mrs. Lisa has ever blessed you, please consider writing her a note on a heart, similar to the notes she leaves for kids to find in their Bibles. These notes will be scanned into a special memory book for her to treasure. You can use the template through the link in our bio, or create your own!

We’re praying for a happy and fulfilling retirement for Mrs. Lisa, and we thank God for all the ways she has blessed this church and the individuals in it! Thank you Mrs. Lisa!!! 🎈

Vivaldi’s Gloria & Hagenberg’s Illuminare. 🎻🎶

Join the Sanctuary Chorus and Festival Orchestra of BelPres Church for a concert of music and worship as they close their 2025–2026 season. Vivaldi’s iconic Gloria and Hagenberg’s Illuminare, though separated by over 300 years, proclaim the glory and splendor of God in distinct and compelling ways. This music invites us to share in that joy together as we gather to, in the words of Psalm 29, “worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.”

This concert is free and open to the greater Eastside community. Registration encouraged, but not required to attend. Invite a friend and join us!

The Holy Spirit unleashed means his will gets done, city by city, and that includes justice for the marginalized and oppressed. We are called to heal injustice in Jesus’ name!

It is not hopeless. Even if it feels like it, it can never be hopeless with Jesus. We encourage you to pray this week, and when you do, to give over your fears, anxieties, anger, sadness, all your emotions and burdens over to Jesus. He is making the world new as we speak, and we can always, always have hope in that. 🤍

This year, we’ve been asking our congregation to bring their physical Bibles to church on Sundays, because we believe there is a spiritual act to physically opening and reading your Bible. We found many people who did bring their Bibles to church, and not only that, we were shown Bibles that people have read for decades, filled with notes, highlights, and prayers!

It was so fun and inspiring to see how everyone has connected with God, through his Word, on their own time and at church. So we’ll continue to say: bring your Bible to church!!! 🫵
