Amy shared that although she now serves as Kalos Kids Director and has been at Kalos for over eight years, she did not grow up in church. As a young person she struggled deeply with depression, anxiety, loneliness, and an abusive relationship, believing she had no safe place to belong. In college, a roommate invited her to church where she encountered the love of God and found true community. Years later, God called her to help create a place where every child feels loved, valued, and safe. Today, Kalos Kids serves over 100 children each week.

Miles shared that he first came to Kalos during a lonely season of life after being invited by a friend. Although he grew up Catholic, he was unfamiliar with a non-denominational church, but from his first service he experienced peace and genuine community. What began with serving on hospitality in the pouring rain turned into four years of faithfully serving across many ministries, leading small groups, building lifelong friendships, and even meeting his future wife, Chantal, whom he will marry in July. While it is a bittersweet goodbye, we are so thankful for Miles and wish both him and Chantal the very best in this new chapter of life ❤️

Happy Sunday! What a powerful morning in God’s presence! The Holy Spirit met us in worship and led us into a beautiful time of praise and surrender. We heard heartfelt testimonies of meaningful life change. Pastor Pradeepan shared a message from Jeremiah 7 and 8 that challenged and encouraged us to repent our sins to the Lord and allow His refining fires to restore us.
