This week, First City Students are spending four nights at Impact, serving throughout Bellevue and Omaha during the day and returning to camp each evening to grow in their faith and to enjoy time together.

They have served at nursing homes and food pantries, provided respite childcare for foster families, cleaned yards, and met practical needs throughout our community.

Through Psalm 23, they are also remembering that God is their Shepherd, the One who provides all they need, leads them, restores them, and remains with them.

Please pray that our students would grow in their trust in God and grow in their joy of serving others.

A Very Violent Prayer | Psalm 58

"God's people pray the imprecatory psalms. When encountering evil, God's people pray for God to defeat those who do wrong. But if you are praying the imprecatory psalms primarily with a personal focus, with a mindset of personal revenge or vengeance, you've got a problem. If you are praying with a God-centered focus, exalting his glory, his justice, his mercy, this prayer will be answered. And has been answered."
