Bedford Methodist Church The mission of the Bedford Methodist Church is to make Jesus Christ known, loved, followed, a Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 am.

BMC offers 2 worship experiences on Sundays - Traditional services at 8:30 am and Contemporary Service at 11:00 am. There is a wide variety of small groups and Bible studies throughout the week and changing throughout the year. You are welcome just as you are!

Other than helping out at our daily missions, this is what it is all about! Our girls were up front helping to lead the worship songs in tonights service, and the boys were in the back, together, swaying back and forth while they sang. I'm so thankful to our congregation for their support of a life-changing trip like this.

Landon and Allena are volunteering as buddies to children with disabilities attending the Respite Care Summer Day Camp program. Some if this week's destinations include the Community Park, Splash pad, Bowling, Colorado Youth Outdoors, Lee Martinez Farm, Museum of Discovery, City Park and Pool.

Payton and Marissa are working this week at Weld Food Bank. Weld Food Bank is a private non-profit organization (not part of the county government) that alleviates hunger and poverty by providing food and services to people in need. Last year they distributed 14.5 pounds of food! Some of what they do include providing approximately 150,000 meals and snacks to children through a Summer Feeding program and run the Backpack program to feed kids over the weekend. They also have a Senior Feeding Program that includes a monthly food package and an Emergency Food Program that provides a food package to those who need immediate food assistance. So far this week, Payton and Marissa have helped make over 1,000 packaged meals and snacks for kids, over 200 monthly packages for home-bound seniors, and have packaged hundreds of fruits and vegetables for the Emergency Food Program.

This Mission Trip post is focused on the FOCO Cafe in Fort Collins, CO. This is a pay what you can café, and people can even get food for free if they complete tasks around the restaurant. Paul, Zoe, Ethan and Sydney are working with 4 people from Missouri there this week. Some of the tasks we are helping with are prepping food, serving food, cleaning up and washing dishes. Taking orders, sorting the clothes donation bin, washing outdoor furniture, raking mulch and taking out the trash. From living in an area that doesnt have a homeless problem, your perception of what homelessness truly is can be sort of narrow minded. Paul had prayed for Jesus to break his heart for what breaks His. He definitely got a big dose of that today. God bless from the mission team.

Allena and Landon will be working at a day camp with children that have disabilities
Dennis, Lane and Drew will be working with the elderly.....which Dennis said he is one of them 😀
Marissa and Payton will be working at the local food bank
Paul, Zoe, Sydney and Ethan will be working at the Pay What You Can Cafe

We made it to Loveland, Co! Arrival time was around 2:45. We are all checked in and have our rooms ready. We've traveled 1,811 miles so far! Special shout out to Bill and Kerry for hauling all our Mission Week luggage and bedding, that they dropped of today as well. They were waiting in the parking lot for us!

Romans 1:20 – "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."

Our trip to Pikes Peak today declared the glory of God! It was also a nerve wracking drive up and down for Paul! The feelings from the altitude definitely surprised us as well. Now for a nap!
