Again, we won’t be looking at any leadership step-by-step guides, but the attitudes each of us has as we are leaders for the advancement of the kingdom of God. Today’s topic is conflict. Now conflict isn’t something that any of us necessarily want to deal with, but as kingdom leaders, we will be called to deal with conflict throughout our lives. Today we are continuing our journey in the book of Romans, exploring some of the core tenets of our faith. Today’s topic may not be a tough one to hear (like some of the other things) … but what we will hear today may be difficult for each of us to accept. In our section of scripture for the day, we will be looking at our relationship with God and our lives waiting on the fulfillment of God’s promises to us. Here, over the next several weeks, we will be spending some time in the book of Romans exploring a few of the core tenets of our faith. Today’s topic is no easy one! Today we will be looking at this wrestling (for lack of a better word) between the law and sin within and around each of us. Now, to top it all off, we are starting this look one day after we celebrated the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country. And even in the midst of this historic celebration, we continue to wrestle with this interaction of the law and sin in the society around us.
