We are so blessed!! 😇 Family Life and Social Concerns Commission kicked off our First Sunday Celebration for the month of September. We were reminded of how wonderful our St. Vincent family truly is. We had great attendance! Parishioners brought delicious casseroles to share. We wanted to give the event a family vibe and wow did our people rise to that. We visited with our friends, made new acquaintances, the children played, and the whole group helped with clean up, just like we would when we get together with our families!
A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus KofC1166 for setting up and tearing down all the large tables 💪 and Jim Parsch for getting the team assembled, thank you to Karen Morris Weaver and Beth Lewis for representing the Altar Society (and for their work this past year as Commission members), Michelle Woodward for representing the Spiritual Life Commission, Katlyn Terry for representing the Family Life and Social Concerns Commission and the Young Adult Ministry, Kevin Steber for representing the Stewardship Commission, and Michael Boles for representing the Faith Formations Commission. Thank you to all parishioners contributing to our Celebration Table. Thank you to our St. Vincent FLSC Commission members who helped with our luncheon from conception to completion: Michelle Kenney - Chairperson of the Social Ministry for CCLC and St. Vincent, Gail Moore - Social Ministry Team, Katlyn Terry - Young Adult Chairperson and Social Ministry Team, and Anita Parsch - FLSC Chairperson and Social Ministry Team. Thanks to Amy Miller for organizing the cleanup effort. Thank you to Father Douglas Hunter for his encouragement and support in giving our church family an opportunity to become a close family once again.
