We all have those places that we love to be for reasons that we can't quite figure out.

Those places that make us feel safe, protected, sheltered, and at ease.

Places that make us feel like that draw us back time and time again, it is a place we get comfortable and long to be.

We want to be in places and with people that make us feel safe, loved, and comfortable. We long for those places and that feeling of belonging.

That is the feeling we have in the presence of God when you spend time with him in the secret place.

When we DWELL with him rather than walking into a worship service, hearing the right song, or happening to show up at prayer night we get comfortable and ease in shadow of His protection.

When was the last time you took the time to stop and Dwell with Jesus?

What a beautiful day of celebration! 💙 We were blessed to witness baptisms and celebrate lives being changed through Christ. What a joy to see people take this step of faith and publicly proclaim their faith in Jesus!

“Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.” — Romans 6:4

We’re thankful for these moments and for what God is doing in our church family! 🙌

Sometimes the most important thing God wants to do in you requires you to get away from the noise.

We live in a world that rarely stops talking. Notifications, opinions, responsibilities, distractions, expectations… and sometimes we carry all of that noise straight into our prayer life.

But Jesus showed us something different.

He went away.
He shut the door.
He prayed.
He listened.

There are things God wants to develop in you that can’t be formed in the noise.
So maybe today, the invitation is simple:

Shut the door.
Stop the noise.
Be still.
Pray continually.
Be changed.

What would happen if you intentionally made space for God today?
No really, what would happen? What are you asking God for and waiting on God to do that you need to get serious about and shut the door so you can hear?
