Been praying for awhile about this and God has laid on my heart to share it with our BVAG family, friends, & followers. This is a very solemn weekend for our nation, Memorial Day, while being what many would say is an exciting weekend for the church, Pentecost! Both are powerful in and of themselves. For our nation remembering the cost paid by many, to the point of sacrificing their lives, for the freedoms enjoyed by this great nation called America. Then you look at what Jesus did, dying for my sin, so that Holy Spirit could come! Both of those events have created as scripture refers to it as a “cloud of witnesses” around us. I pray that at every Memorial Day remembrance that will take place this weekend we will honor those lost. As for the Christians we would also recall what Jesus did for us! Both groups have created a cloud of witnesses!

Sister Jackie shared an awesome word from Scrpiture yoday here at BVAG! She also followed God’s direction in how to conduct the service and what a presence of God! WOW!

We will be starting at May 3rd at 6 pm as the sign says. Our plan is to sing until 7:30, or as the Lord leads. We would love to have you join us for evening. This will be our “contemporary” worship service. On the 31st of May singer/songwriter Daryl Mosley will be ministering.

As many are making preparations to attend an Easter service at church this morning remember this as you go, JESUS IS ALIVE! He has been alive & seated back at the right hand of the Father. Mark 16:19! However, because he died, rose again he and the Father sent Holy Spirit! That means we are connected to them and they us! Everyday! Not just on Easter!
