Our congregation has been invited to join with Mt. Olive congregation at their annual picnic at Shawnee State Park, East Beach Pavilion on September 7th. The worship service will begin at 10am with lunch and fellowship to follow. Please bring a dish to share and place settings for your family. The worship service at Christ Lutheran Church is cancelled that day!

We enjoyed another successful VBS! “At the Table” we grew wheat, baked bread, and enjoyed different kinds of food from around the world. We learned that we all have a story to tell, and we learned how we can help people in our community who may not have enough food to share around the table. This Sunday, May 18th, Bishop Collins will be visiting us to preside over a baptism as well as confirmation of two of our young members. A luncheon will follow worship service. The church will provide chicken, dinner rolls, beverages and celebration cake. Your contribution of side dishes will be appreciated.
