Grace can be difficult to celebrate when it's being given to someone we don't think deserves it.

But that's the thing about grace: none of us deserve it.

The older brother was so busy remembering everything his brother had done wrong that he couldn't celebrate what his father had done right.

And that leaves us with a challenging question:

Can I celebrate God's grace when He gives it to someone I think deserves judgment?

Sunday's message reminded us that when someone comes to Christ, heaven celebrates. We don't want to be standing outside with crossed arms while heaven rejoices.

This week, let's remember how much grace we've received—and become people who are eager to extend it to others. ❤️

No situation is beyond Jesus. ❤️

Sunday we saw people come to Jesus with very different needs. One was urgent. One had gone on for years. One seemed completely impossible. Yet through every situation, Jesus demonstrated both His authority and His compassion.

That gives us two challenges this week:

🙏 Trust Jesus with your situation.
Maybe it's urgent. Maybe you've carried it for a long time. Maybe you can't see any possible solution. Bring it to Him anyway. As Jesus told Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe.”

🗣️ Tell someone about your Savior.
The hope we have in Jesus is too good to keep to ourselves. He came to save sinners, give life, and ensure that death does not have the final word.

Whatever you're facing, trust Him.
And whatever He's done for you, tell someone about Him.

Church isn’t just somewhere we go on Sunday—it’s a family we’re called to be part of. ❤️

Tomorrow, let’s put last week’s reminder into practice: pray together, love one another, welcome others, and serve faithfully.

Whether you’ve been here every Sunday or it’s been a while, there’s a place for you.

It’s up to all of us. ❤️

Sunday we were reminded from 1 Peter 4:7–11 that the church isn't simply a place we attend—we are the church.

That means we can't assume someone else will pray, someone else will love, someone else will welcome, or someone else will serve. God has called each of us to be an active part of the body and to use the gifts He has given us for His glory.

So here's our Weekly Challenge:
🙏 PRAY for the people God has placed around you.
❤️ LOVE your church family—even when it's difficult.
👋 WELCOME someone you don't already know.
🙌 SERVE using the gifts God has given you.

A praying church. A loving church. A welcoming church. A serving church.

That's not somebody else's job. It's ours. ⛪️

Sunday, we heard a few important reminders from Dr. Richard Williamson from Joshua 1. 📖

One big takeaway: our attitude can cause us to miss what God is doing.

Change can be difficult. It’s easy to focus on what we’ve lost, what feels uncertain, or what we wish were different. But if we stay focused on the negative, we may miss the beauty of what God is doing right in front of us.

As we walk through a season of change, let’s keep our eyes open, trust the Lord, and look expectantly for what He will do next. 💙
