Join us tomorrow as we celebrate our graduate and have a special send off for our MFUGE team. Sunday, June 14, the MFUGE team will give a missions report as a part of our worship service. Be in prayer for their safety and witness as they serve in Mobile, Alabama this week.

We also invite all to join us for our indoor picnic on Sunday, June 28, to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Lunch will be served immediately following the morning worship service. Sign-ups for salads and desserts will be at the welcome center. Please bring friends and family to celebrate with us! All are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow! If you are visiting and have questions about church membership, please join us tomorrow or contact the church office this week for more information. We would love to serve alongside you and have you join our church family!

🔵🟠That may be the end of VBS 2026 at SBC Lakeland, but it is never the end for Jesus as the Light of the World! Jesus is, and always has been, the only way to receive God’s forgiveness of sin. Jesus is, and always has been, God’s plan for forgiveness.🟣🔴

Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38

Thank you families for bringing your children to us! We have enjoyed getting to know them and helping to bring the gospel to their lives. We would love to have you join us for Sunday School this Sunday at 9:15 AM and Worship at 10:30 AM.

Thank you Southside Baptist Church family for your faithful service and prayers and support. Be encouraged by this week as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and continued blessings upon all of us as well.

Tonight is our last night of VBS 2026 Illumination Station! Members, guests, friends, family, and neighbors are all welcome and encouraged to join us tonight at 8 PM.

💡🔵🟣🔦 This week is quickly coming to a close! Tonight, we spent night 4 of VBS learning about the proven Son of God! Our Bible study was about Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection and being recognized by the Roman centurion as the true Son of God. 🔦🟢🟡💡

Tomorrow we will learn about Jesus being God’s plan for forgiveness.

Remember to join us for our final night, at 8 PM to see what our students have learned this week.

Also, our VBS offering is being collected for Lighthouse Kids Club. Prayerfully consider participating to support this local ministry.

💡🔦 Day 3 shined a light on the miracles of Jesus as He is the powerful Son of God. We read the story of Jesus feeding 4,000 men plus uncounted women and children with only 7 loaves of bread and a few small fish (Matt. 15:29-39). 🔦💡

Tomorrow, we will look more closely at how Jesus is the proven Son of God as He lived, died, and rose to life again to be our Savior.

Remember to join us on Thursday at 8 PM for our final night of VBS. We look forward to sharing the good news, crafts, and songs we’ve learned this week!

🟡🔦We had another fantastic night here at SBC Lakeland for night 2 of Illumination Station! Only 3 nights remaining!💡🟠

Tonight we learned about John baptizing Jesus and how Jesus is God’s Perfect Son. Come out tomorrow night to discover the miracles of Jesus as He is the Powerful Son of God.

Attention parents and SBC Members: please mark your calendars and make every effort to attend our Parent and Church Family Night this Thursday, June 4, our final night of VBS 2026 at 8 PM! (Students are welcomed at 6PM to complete their final VBS rotations before the final rally at 8 PM in the sanctuary.) You will be able to see students take part in the closing rally as they perform the songs they’ve learned this week as well as view their crafts and Bible study classrooms. We can’t wait to see you!

🟣🔵What a great start to VBS 2026 on night 1!! 🟢🟡

We learned about Jesus being the Messiah, the Promised Son of God. We encourage you to join us tonight, on night 2, as we continue learning about Jesus being God’s perfect Son who came to be the Savior of the world! Bring a friend or neighbor tonight!
