⚠ Due to an unexpected situation associated with the road excavation on St Matthew Rd, all public access water on the east side of the Cemetery has been turned off. Water will remain off until repairs can be completed. We apologize for the inconvenience.

NOTICE: St. Matthew Road (cemetery entrance on the east side of I-95, closest to 14th St) is under construction beginning on Wed, Aug 19th. The road is expected to remain open to vehicular traffic while existing pavement is being removed, and a portion of that road’s base is rebuilt.
The road will be closed for approximately 2 days starting on Monday, Aug 24th (weather permitting) for paving.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out on Saturday, May 16th to place flags on the graves of the more than 1400 veterans buried in our Cemetery. Continued thanks to our Youth Ministry & Young Adult Groups, Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts, GE representatives, and all the families who make this event an annual commitment. We could not do it without all of you! A special thank you to Sarah Hart whose work in mapping out the grave locations over the past 3 years has made the effort much more efficient and enjoyable!

The public access water in the Cemetery will be turned on effective Tuesday, May 12. 💦🌷
*Water access for areas off St. John Road will remain off until that water line is replaced.

NOTICE: This spring, Mt Pleasant Catholic Cemetery will begin replacing our public access water lines, starting with line serving the NWA - NWB - NWC sections on St. John Road. As part of this multi-year project, public access water will be reduced to one faucet/spigot per road, generally to be located nearer to the Ohio Street entrances. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work to complete these much needed improvements.
