BAI Tots had a great time at our Nitzanim Mother’s Day celebration! We made our very own bourekas with a secret recipe written in Ladino, an ancient language of the Sephardic Jews. We also made cards out of natural materials we found in the Ya’ar for Mother’s Day. It was a fun day of learning, baking, and exploring! 🌸🪻🌼

The Kesher Walkers kicked off the Spring season with a stroll through Jenkins Arboretum. The azaleas were in their full glory. Join them every Friday at 9:30am at Haverford College Visitor Parking Lot and Saturdays at 2pm in the BAI upper parking lot for our 2.5 mile walk and good company. The walk is always better when you are there!

Shorashim Snapshot: We had a fantastic afternoon of shorashim learning this week! Our Dalet/Hey class (4th/5th grades) make pickles to eat in their shelters, our Gimmel class (3rd grade) used the map of the Ya’ar they made to go on a scavenger hunt and find s’mores ingredients before they built a fire, and our Aleph/Bet class (K-2nd grades) learned about the Omer and made earth, wind, water, and fire uniforms out of paper bags! 🌎💨🔥💦
