This week, we welcomed Assistant Vocation Director, Father Greg Miller, to the Vocation Office!

Father Miller will be joining the Vocation Office on a part-time basis. The Vocation Director, Father Sean English, is taking on an additional part-time role as Assistant Vicar for Clergy, while continuing his role as Vocation Director, full-time.

Please pray for both Father Miller and Father English as they take on their new roles!

Today we welcome the new and returning seminarians to St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, including 8 new men for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia! We ask that you keep them in your prayers throughout this school year as they learn, grow in faith, and continue to discern the diocesan priesthood.

Today. August 4th, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. John VIanney, patron saint of parish priests.

Though he struggled academically and often felt inadequate, he became one of the greatest priests in the Church through his holiness, love for the Eucharist, and countless hours spent hearing confessions. His life reminds us that God works powerfully through those who generously say "yes" to His call.

Last night, the Vocation Office welcomed the newly accepted seminarians and their families to St. Charles Seminary for Mass, dinner, and a tour of their new home. These men will be seminarians for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and begin classes in just a few short weeks! Please keep them in your prayers as they continue to discern their vocations.
