Happy Wednesday and Happy Gospel Reflection Group Day! Please join fellow members of Holy Family Parish tonight at 7:00pm to discuss the upcoming weekend's gospel. The meeting lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, come for a bit or for the whole meeting! As you can see there are snacks and beverages for all to enjoy.

Today we celebrate the one year anniversary of Father O'Sullivan being appointed Parochial Administrator of Holy Family Parish. In this year, Father O'Sullivan has completed many projects, beautified the inside and outside of the church and started traditions we didn't know we needed! On July 1, 2026, Father will officially be Holy Family's 9th pastor, following Rev. McEnroe, Rev. Hannigan, Rev. Grace, Rev. Marley, Rev. Gsell, Rev. Goodyear, Fr. McKee and most recently, Monsignor Sweeney.

The Parishioners of Holy Family look forward for the next year and many years after to see the path Father O'Sullivan will lead us on.

May God Bless Father O'Sullivan today and always.

Here is another O'Harra Scholar who benefitted from the four year scholarship that she received as a freshman when she started Chestnut Hill College. She has gone on to earn her Master's Degree in History. Congratulations Grace!

"Having been the recipient of the O'Harra Scholarship for four years, how do you think your O'Harra Scholarship has formed you to be more concerned for others and more willing to 'pay it forward'?"

Here is my answer: The O'Harra Scholarship has always been about giving back, investing in the potential of the next generation. I am extremely grateful to have been a recipient for my four years in college as I worked toward my undergraduate degree. Not only did the scholarship provide me with the financial assistance that allowed me to focus on my studies but it has always helped me further understand the importance of helping others in a tangible way. The O'Harra Scholarship helped me and others in a major way but even small acts of kindness, paying forward the support of the O'Harra Scholarship, can have a massive impact on another's life. Big or small actions, the result can be lifechanging.

I was an O'Harra Scholarship recipient from 2020-2024, using it for my undergraduate degree from Chestnut Hill College where I graduated in 2024 with a double major in History and Secondary Education.

Attached is a picture from my recent graduation from West Chester University where I received my Master’s Degree in History with a Certificate in Holocaust and Genocide Studies.

Thank you to Father Augustine Idra, AJ for celebrating Mass this weekend. Father Idra's homilies appealing to Holy Family's parishioners to support the Apostles of Jesus, based in Africa to help sponsor young men who cannot afford college or to go to the seminary. Father told of his own story how a woman in Milan sponsored him when he was a young man discerning the priesthood. It was wonderful to have him at Holy Family this weekend.

Happy Friday! Please plan on joining us for the celebration of mass this weekend. Masses are on Saturday at 4 PM. Confession is also heard on Saturday from 3 p.m. until 3:50 PM. Sunday masses are celebrated at 9 AM and 11 AM. We also have a guest missionary coming to speak to us at all the masses.
