How often do we walk past someone and notice their clothes, their belongings, or where they’re sitting—but never learn their name?
In our work at Be Finally Free, we meet people carrying burdens we cannot see. Homelessness describes someone’s circumstances. It doesn’t tell us their whole story or determine their worth.
This scene reflects the heart of Restoration Begins with Seeing: slow down, look beyond our assumptions, and remember there is a person there.

Orientation Day!!!

Today was an exciting milestone at Be Finally Free as we welcomed participants to orientation for our new Workforce Pathways: Train for Success Program!

This program has been a long time in the making, and we want to give a special shoutout to Miss Susan for all the hard work, dedication, and countless hours she has poured into bringing this vision to life!

Our first cohort officially kicks off November 2nd, and we couldn't be more excited!

This program is about so much more than job training. It's about creating opportunities, building confidence, developing job readiness skills, and providing real pathways toward self-sufficiency and lasting success!

We can't wait to see the lives impacted and the doors that open through this program!

Here's to new beginnings and brighter futures!

Help Us Make Christmas Special for Over 300 Kern County Kids! ❤️🎄

This Christmas, Be Finally Free is partnering with Angel Tree to provide Christmas gifts to 300 children throughout Kern County who have been impacted by having an incarcerated parent.

For many of these children, the holidays can look a little different. We want every child we serve to know that they are seen, loved, remembered, and not forgotten this Christmas.

Our Annual BFF Kids Christmas Extravaganza is December 12th, and we need YOUR help filling those Christmas wishes!

Be Finally Free is officially launching our FREE, in-person Anger Management classes on Thursday, October 15th!

Our court and DHS/Probation-approved course is designed to help participants recognize triggers, understand unhealthy thought and behavior patterns, manage emotions, communicate more effectively, and build healthier relationships.
