Your Ordinary Is the Extraordinary Part - October 25, 2026

Have you stayed away from church because you figured everyone there had it together and you don't?

That's a fair read of a lot of churches. It isn't this one. Today Rez put its mission in writing, and the first two words are "messy people." Not cleaned up. Not finished. Not pretending. There are 144,000 people within ten minutes of this building and fewer than one in five walks into any church at all. This is what we're actually here for.

From the outside, church can look like a club for people who have their lives figured out. If that’s never been you, it’s easy to assume you wouldn’t fit.

Jesus had a problem with that kind of club. The religious people of His day didn’t like who He let in, and they called Him a drunk and a partier for it.

Tomorrow at REZ, hear what He offered the people everyone else wrote off. You don’t have to believe any of it yet to come find out.

⏰️ Sunday morning:
The alarm goes off, the kids suddenly need 47 things, someone can’t find their shoes, and for a second… staying home sounds pretty good.

But here’s the reminder: we don’t just go to church - we’re building a life of faith.

🤲🏻 We need God’s Word. We need worship. We need community. And our kids need to see that gathering with God’s people is a normal and important part of our lives.

So grab your things. Find the shoes. Get everybody loaded up. 😂

Come ready to worship, grow, and do this life together. See you in the house!

God has always used ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

God doesn’t just work through pastors, elders, or deacons. He works through ordinary, Spirit-filled people who are willing to be obedient.

👉🏻 You may be more useful to God than you realize.

Recently, Rez Church had the joy of hosting the CSBC // Replicate Ministries Movement Ready Day Workshop!

A big thank-you to Chick-fil-A Stockdale Hwy, and Owner/Operator Troy Hess for generously donating chicken sandwiches to feed our participants. We're so grateful for your kindness and support of our community!

Sometimes a complaint is more than a complaint. When we bring our frustrations to God, He can turn them into conviction - and that conviction can reveal a calling.

What if the thing bothering you is something God wants to use you to help change?

🤔 Has there been something bugging you that you've been bringing up for months with nothing to show for it?

The broken thing at work.
The person getting skipped.
The one everybody walks past.

You've vented about it, nothing changed, and you figured that's just how it is.

👉🏻 What almost nobody considers is that it keeps bothering you for a reason, and the reason has your name on it. There's a way to tell before you say it out loud again.

👉🏻 The filling doesn't happen before you move - it usually happens while you're moving.

You don’t have to have it all together before God can use you. Ask Him to fill you, take the next step, and trust Him to meet you along the way. 🙏🏻
